Castelbello, Northern Italy (Note swallow tail merlons, and twin conical towers)

“The castle Castelbello is enthroned on a cliff and can be visited. It was built around 1200 and nearly burned right down during the wars of liberation. The castle chapel is especially worth visiting, it has decorative frescos of the 16th century and a permanent exhibition on the famous Roman street Claudia Augusta.”
