    Amazing attempt. Now add Italian language (more weight than English probabilities and slightly more weight than Latin even, because it’s likely the manuscript originated in Italy). Then attempt anagrams for likelyhood that high counts of words with same/similar letter content are actually same words. Lastly scan old Italian/Latin texts for letter frequencies (e.g. “e” is the most common letter in English language), and add that layer to your probabilistic model.

    I’d love to see the outcome of that! Let me know if I can help, I have a very powerful machine, and Mathematica license with bulk of my work being in AI field, but sadly not in syphers or decryption.

    Have you considered applying this approach to Zbigniew Banasik’s theory that the VMS is written in Manchu using a rare or unique abugida?
